''Oh dear!I really wanted to know what it looks like inside,''John moaned.
Meanwhile,Ben was thinking aloud."Hmm...I want to know too.What do we do?''For a few minutes,there was silence in the cellar.Mary looked around,and from a corner of her eyes,she spotted a wire on the floor.
"Hey!I got an idea!Let us use this wire to pick the lock!"Mary suggested,holding up the wire.
"Is it alright?As in,this is someone's property.John explained."This is wrong.We might be accused of trespassing."
"It would be just be a few minutes or so.It would not take long.Just a little peek..."Ben pleaded.
"Alright.Mary,pick the lock,"John said excitedly."Turn off the flash light ,Ben."
The door creaked open,leading into a room with absolute darkness.It was as if we were closing our eyes.No much difference.
Just as if we were wondering what to do,"Woosh!"A door infront of us opened,showing a bright room.Instinctively,we walked towards it.
It was fascinating!It was marvellous!There were silk carpets on the floor,comfortable arm chairs,beautiful paintings on the wall,and the room was clean.there were also chandeliers.This owner must be pretty rich!We were taking in the sight.How we wished we could live here!After a moment,Mary reminded us,"Hey,I think we should go now.Let's head back."
We dragged our feet and walked into the dark room.However,the room was not dark anymore.In the room,there were two oped doors.
''Huh?Where should we go?I thought there was only one door..."Ben's voice trailed off.
Suddenly,we heard the sound "clank!"coming from a place,followed by a low growl.John thought aloud,"Hmm...That sounds like a cage door opening.This place is inhabited!"We turned around.There was nothing.
"Grr...Growl!Grr...Growl!"
"What was that?I think we better run!"Mary screamed.
With that,the trio ran straight. Other then their own panting,they could hear some footsteps approaching them.They ran until they reached the cellar.
However,the noise was still there."Grr..."
"Quick!On the flashlight Ben !"John said.
The light shone on the mysterious thing.There was a bear and Aunt Mabel!
She said,"Kill them!"
We were astonished. The bear had black hair and its eyes were red with fury."Grr...Growl!"The black bear chased the trio aroung the cellar.The situation was extremely tense.
"Ouch!"Ben fell down witha thud.The bear rushed towards Ben,ready to give it a bite.
"No!"screamed John and Mary."Ben!Watch out!
It was useless.The bear rushed forward and gave Ben a bite.Blood rushed out of Ben's gaping wound. Big droplets of tears dropped from Mary' eyes.
John took a wine bottle and smashed it.Using the broken wine bottle,John bravely smashed it on the beast's head.
"Growl!Grr!Growl!Grr!"The frantic bear ran around,and finally collasped.
"Ben!Ben!Are you alright?Let me see the wound,"Mary said as she hurried towards Ben.
Seeind the wound,Mary looked around,and her eyes fell on a cloth in the barrel and a tap.She ran towards the cloth,ripped it,on the tap,and wet the cloth.Next,she used the wet clothto clean Ben's wound.Thirdly,she used the dry cloth to bandage Ben's injury.
After a few minutes,Mary heaved a sigh of relieve."Ben is fine now.Aunt Mabel,what are you doing?" We gasped at her."What are you doing here?How did you get here?When did you..."The children burried us under an avalance of questions.
Aunt Mabel looked sternly at us,then she seemed to change her mind."Sit down children.I will explained everything."
Aunt Mable started,"Ever since you came,i spent a lot on your daily needs.I was also ggod friends with the next door neighboor,aunty Sharon,the owner of this house.Before she passed away,she told me the secrets of her house.While,i was afraid that you would find out the secret-a bear in the house, so,i decided to kill you with the bear pretending it was an accident to protect the secret.I spent alot of time with aunt Sharon and the bear,so the bear treats me as its owner and follow my commands.I fed and took care of it,so it is still well and healthy.It was my only friend here.However i did not expect you to kill it."
Aunt Mabel wept after that.
Ben said,"Aunt Mabel!We wanted to help you!We will gather cockles on the beach,sell them,and help you earn some money!"
Aunt Mabel was taken aback."Do you mean it?"
We nodded our heads.
Aunt Mabel dried her tears and replied,"Well,i think you can stay."
"Hurray!"we shouted and gave her a big hug.

INTRODUCTION:
This picture shows apicture of Yu Yang Primary School's fitness corner.There is not alot of students there.
SENARIO1:CAUSE AND EFFECT
A girl has just fallen off the monkey bar.She seems to be bleeding profusely and is crying.
I think the boy beehind her might have forced her down.Another boy is running towards her.I think he is trying to help her.
I understand her pain.It is very painful.She had better wash her wound to prevent viruses from infecting her open wound.
SENARIO2:WRONG AND CONSEQUENCEs
Two boys are playing soccer here.It is the wrong place to play.
They should play soccer at a field as they mightinjure someone wh is unaware of flying footballs.
CONCLUSION:
I think the girl should find a teacher to help her bandage her wound,Fast.We should watch out for our safety so we would not get injured by flying footballs of other dangerous stuff.

I think he is playing catching with a friend of his.What he is doing is wrong.He also knocked down a female teacher on his way down.The female teacher seem to be shocked.The pile of books she is carrying is falling down.Some students are helping the teacher to pick up the falling books.
That is quick thinking.They can prevent a mishap from happening.
The boy is about to knock into male teacher carrying a hot cup of cup noodles in his hand.If the boy knocks into him,he will scald not only but himself but also the boy.
I hope the boy would stop in time.

Introduction:
This picture depicts a swimming pool.There are alot of people .They are mostly children.It must be the ORCHID PRIMARY SCHOOL SPORTS MEET.There is a banner saying ORCHID PRIMARY SCHOOL SPORTS MEET 2005.There is also a scoreboard.It shows that the yellow house is in the lead,and the red is in secondand blue in third.The green house is the last.
SENARIO 1:CAUSE AND EFFECT
A boy who is swimming for the green house is struggling in the water.I think he never did his warm up exercise and is now having a leg cramp.The teacher in-charge have noticed it and is shouting angrily to a life guard who is talking on the phone.
What the lifeguard is doing is wrong.He should be on the lookout.It is his job to do so.If the boy drowns,he is going to get it from his boss.
In my opinion,i think the teacher had better tap the lifeguard on the shoulder before the boy drowns.
SENARIO2:NORMAL
The other swimmers are doing fine.Yellow is in the lead,followed by blue,and lastly,red.They are doing a good job.
They have the competetive spirit to move on.Their own teams are cheering for them.
I am glad that they are so surppotive of their teammates.

Thereis a long table at the end called the announcers table.The lady sitting in the middlemust be the head judge.Her papers are flying all over the place.
In my opinion,she should be more tidy.If some flew into the water,she is going to be in trouble of retrieving it.
CONCLUSION:
I think we must be careful in the water.Any accident can happen in the water.

On the right hand side of the picture,ther are two girls building a sandcastle out of sand,seashells and sticks.A young boy wearing spectacles,isrunning towards them with a pail of seawater.He is probably going to use the water to wet the sandcastle so it is easier to stick the sand together.
Lookingat how they have progresed,i can tell that they are very creative and good with their hands.It is not easy to do it.You have to be patient to do it.
Building a sandcastleis very fun.It streches your creativity on how to makeit look nice.
I tried before and could only make an anthill.Guess i am not good enough...

Their parents have the responsibility to take care of themas it is their duty.They should watch out for their children when they are alone.Also,the ball might hit somebody.They should play their game at a place where there is nobody,to prevent any casualties.

A little girl is riding on her float and paddling out to sea.She seems to be playing tag with a boy behind her.
She should not be swimming too far out to sea as she might get caught in a current and lose her life.The boy behind her should notdo the same thing.He might get caught in a current and lose his life too.
In my opinion,there should at least be anadult who is a strong swimmer to watch over them in case of danger.
Conclusion:
The beach can be a good place to relax but it can also be a dangerous place too.We must also have an adultto watch over us in case of trouble.

Hmm...Reflections for SBWR...
Today,the minute i woke up,i quickly got a shower,than rushed to school.I was one of the early birds.I decided to read a book while i waited for JIA YI.
At about 8.30,we were told to go up to the classroom to either put our stuff or go to the foyer to wait.I decided to go up to the classroom.It was tiring.We had to go down again.We were nearly late when we reached there.I took my sit and read a book while waiting for the bus.
A few minutes later,we boarded the bus.It was a long journey.It took about 30 to45 mins to reach there.When we arrived,we were greeted by a stench.Upon reaching,i had sprayed myself with insect repellent.
We were seperated into groups.GIRLS AND BOYS.A few boys had to go with us.Our guide was MISS GOH.She was friendly and nswered most of our Qns.
First,we crossed a bridge. I DO NOT quite rememmber the name but i think it is BIG BAMBOO BRIDGE or sth...We were told that there were two crocidiles there,sowe tried to find it,but to no avail.I think we were not lucky...The guide asked alot of Qns,and since i had read all kinds of books, i knewsome of the Qns answers.:)Every time i thought i saw a crocidile,it turned out to be garbage...
It also seemed that SBWR was just the opposite of a place i have been to,JOHOR,in MALAYSIA.
We continued our journey.As we were exploring,we found out that the bridge was MOVING!Alot of us became frantic with fear...After a while,we tasted some plants' leaves.It tasted salty!It appears that the plant absorbed the brakish water,(BRAKISH WATER IS WATER THAT IS FRESH AND SALTY.)making the leaves taste salty.The salt is then either blown away by the wind or dissolved in the rain.
As we reached shore,one of us found a LOBSTER MOUND!But no lobsters ,unfortunately...
A while later, we went back.We took a short toilet break.
Next,we went to explore the MANGROVES.We found out that the roots were huge and it was above the ground!We also saw some animals:MONKEY,A SMALL AND HUGE MUDSKIPPER,AND A SMALL AND HUGE TREE CLIBING CRAB,A HUGE HORSESHOE CRAB,A SQUIRREL,AND A GOLDEN WEB SPIDER WITH ITS MATE.Interestingly,the female spider was about 50x bigger than the male!
After the whole journey,the teacher gave us a bookmark.I got a ''special edition''bookmark!:)
After the tiring day,we had to go back to school fora frustrating maths mockexam!:(
I AM ALREAFY SO TIRED I COULD NOT CONCENTRATE!
FINALLY,HOME TIME!YIPEE!BUTI STILL HAVE TUITION AT 5...AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Hi.
What a day.Yawn...
Today's blog is about ADAM KHOO'S camp reflection.
First day...there was a trainer,named CANDICE.She told us two kind of rules.Firstly,the GRAND RULES.It is:DO NOT TOUCH MUSICAL INSTRUMENT,BE PUNTUAL,GIVE YOUR 100%EFFORT,TRAINER TALK,I DONT ,AND lastly,CLAP AND CHHER TOGETHER.
SUCESS RULES:DO IT FAST,DO IT RIGHT,DO IT NOW.SUCCESS IS NOT=WHATU HAVE.SUCCESS IS MOVING TOWARDS YOUR GOAL,NO FAILURE,ONLY LEARNING EXPERIENCE.
She taught us the ultimate success formula,purpose goals(sheeep and eagle),the 3 types of people in society,3 ways people deal with failure,and where we want to be in society
For YY,he taught us about the BRAIN,the pareto principle,the power of words,principles of memory,and showed us the video on ROCKY.Also,theV,A,K.
Second day.YY had us to tell him the30 words.Well u can count me lucky.Igot to get two tries unlike others.We learned about the K.I.M and the minmap on that day.THE thirtywords were though.We had todraw crazy pictures to make it''SIOW'',so we can remember.In the evening,CANDICE made me cry for the first time in school.
Third day.We did speed reading.We hd to do it right,and fast.THE FINAL THING BUT NOT THE FORGETABLE KIND.We hadto stack our chairs about 6 times.Well,i tried to tell the boys our plan,but theywanted to procced with thier ownplan,making the groupfall apart.Well,in the end whowa first?US GIRLS IN OUR CLASS.They puledus down.CRAB FRIENDS.Well,it is over.No use bearing a gruge against them.I do not want to be a sheep,giving excuses and complaining.
At night,on the third day.We can finally meet our parents and go home.YIPEE!

Today's blog is about ADAM KHOO'S camp reflection.
First day...there was a trainer,named CANDICE.She told us two kind of rules.Firstly,the GRAND RULES.It is:DO NOT TOUCH MUSICAL INSTRUMENT,BE PUNTUAL,GIVE YOUR 100%EFFORT,TRAINER TALK,I DONT ,AND lastly,CLAP AND CHHER TOGETHER.
SUCESS RULES:DO IT FAST,DO IT RIGHT,DO IT NOW.SUCCESS IS NOT=WHATU HAVE.SUCCESS IS MOVING TOWARDS YOUR GOAL,NO FAILURE,ONLY LEARNING EXPERIENCE.
She taught us the ultimate success formula,purpose goals(sheeep and eagle),the 3 types of people in society,3 ways people deal with failure,and where we want to be in society
For YY,he taught us about the BRAIN,the pareto principle,the power of words,principles of memory,and showed us the video on ROCKY.Also,theV,A,K.

Today,its kinda shocking for me.I did not expect my result to be this...POOR.I was expecting at least a 70plus.Well,although i am kind of envious of my friends who got so much better results,i knew its all my fault.Although i thought i studied hard enough,its just one thing that is keeping back from achieving what i should get.I still do not know what it is,but i am going to figure it out.I hope it is before May.
LETS not discuss about studying.How about the environment?
Just now,when i was walking home,i noticed that there were some smoke or SOMETHING in the air.Iasked my grandfather what it was.He said that our neighbour Indonesia,is burning something,causing the air to become cloudy.It is bad for the environment as it causes air pollution.Dont they no about global warming?Actually,i did not beally take global warming really that serious.However ,when i reached home,mygranma said that her throat was very dry.I felt the same way too.I am actually shock that the smoke can pass from INDONESIA to SINGAPORE.I hope that the smoke will be gone soon.Otherwise ,it might affect our health.

Hmm...today its so nerve wrecking!It was the higher chinese compo exam.Tomorrow its the eng and chi .compo exam.Iam still not verygood with writing compo.Sometimes,its unrealistic.Sometimes,it has no climax.I am not a writer.I cant write well.SIGH.I am so frustrated!I wish i got ideas that can be used but itis different from others.I realise that even if my results are good,mycompo will only pull me down.SIGH(x2)
Ihope i can write goodstories like those who score 30 and above.(SOB...)

I read the two compos.One of them is the uncle ali compo,while theother is the one we wrote last year.
Yes i know that i should not be other people's mouth ,but i kinda pity them.For today's oral preparation,to tell the truth,i was rather tounge-tied.We must be prepared for everything,but i got a question.What if u do nothave alot of life experiences?Like we are locked from the outside world?Our brains cant probably have everything.It would be SUPER MESSY.What if u suddenly forgot how to talk?EG.what would u do if u are a cleaner?Most of us would say Iwould keep the place clean.(fullstop)I DONT THINK i can talk anymore. What can we talk about?Can u giveme some egs?(i took about 5 mins to think of this qn as as i think the invigilator would ask me .)

reflection
Sorry for not bloggin for so long.
Today,MC confiscated our eng rescource files because we are not takin care or hmm...i dont know how to express it.Oh.Or because weare not usin her methods .I agree that sometimes we just leave her rescources in our files,not givin it much attention.BUT it is nearin the exam.May i request that at least some of the more sincere can have it back?J ust now,when i was walkin home,i heard some people sayin that they want their rescources back.As for me,i forgot to bring it.:(.
Another thing,u said we have to stop our studygroup and must ask your permission tocontinue it.I was shock that u said that.What i am goin to say means NO OFFENSE to MC.Its like we might have a study group since p5,and continued to p6.Its like our study group is our own.I know u have told our parents about our study group that its for studying or revisin purposes .Although there might be no improvement or a little or a little improvement,we sometimes do hw together,so if we have any problems,we can ask the person next to us easily.So may i request that we can continue our study group?
Please think about it again before givin an answer.PLS!I an begging u Miss Chia!Pls think about it.PLS SAY YES!

I think what MC said today true.I did resaerch and it said:

Today,for science,i learn a topic related to Forces.It is no other than Friction!
About Friction,i think it happens when two or more things rub against each other.It produces heat energy.I also thought about it.When things are slippery,it seems that friction is reduced!MC also showed us some videos on Friction.It was very interesting.The P group performed a little ''advertisment''.Its was about some good and bad advantages about friction.
My group thought of some ideas.I am pretty nervous.I NEVER ever,wanted to be the ''advertiser',but other than me,none wanted to be it.
I want to be like a professional,but i am not sure how!?
Can u give me some tips?By the way,when can u use your comp? I want to know please.

today,miss chia taught us on the newspaper.it was about goggle wanting to get out of china because china copy all their ideas.i have o yahoo account and now i heard that yahoo was forced by china to get to know our account,i feel very unsafe.its like your your account can be read anytime and if u have private things u donwant people to know.it will still be known.
thereis another arrticle about an 7.0 earthquake in haiti.itdid not surprise me as therehas been natural diasters lately.i wonderwhat is happening inthe world?!!!

Today,i learned HIP HOP.It was alot of fun.I guess its a little rest for us.I think not for poor MissChia though...I read her blog.I think buwe shouldtake a step at atime.we mustbe resilient.we must not give up!i met Charmaine,the prefect from last year.she has gone to ANGLICAN .I am so envious!i must work hard!i must get to ANGLICAN!!!!!!!BUT i am not alone.Miss Chia will help me.thks!
